The club meetings will be held on the first
and third Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. for the spring
semester in I-305 (West Charleston Campus). Here are the meeting dates.
SPRING 2017 SEMESTER:

- February 2nd & 16th
- March 2nd & 16th
- April 6th & 20th
- May 4th & 18th

The other Thursdays in the month (not scheduled for official meetings/workshops above) may involve hosting an open mic night, holding a fundraising event like a bake sale, or having an off-campus outing to a local restaurant or coffeehouse as a club. Those additional dates will be announced as we schedule them.

Neon Dreams (formerly the Silver Compass) is the student literary and visual arts journal at CSN, and writers and artists can submit their work by October 15th for the fall semester and by February 15th for the spring semester.
Also, we have open mic readings each semester, and see the open mic reading and Halloween party/costume contest video below from our event on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. in D-101 at the Charleston Campus. (See below)!
If you would like to read your work of fiction, non-fiction, or poetry at the next open mic, please send your title to yelena.bailey-kirby@csn.edu. We will begin advertising for the next open mic event at least a month in advance, so be on the look out each semester!
